Hi all,

My climate control is jammed on FULL HOT!
Put it on LO, and you just get maximum flow of hot air
The system is clearly trying to maintain a set temperature, but cannot get to the colder / ambient air, so guessing it's the fault I found on the On-board diagnostics-

11.7 - Central Flap, sporadic block
There's also a fault of outside temp sensor, (5.1) but that's been there for ages without issue.
Finally an error of 9.5 - which isn't listed

So, I'm thinking it's time to tear out the central flap.

Has anyone got a guide on this? Paper, youtube, don't mind, but I want to find out if this is an afternoon-on-the-driveway job or if it's going to a garage.

TIA.

OK, well after a week of harassing the internet I found the answer and it was in the forum all along.... Just not under any kind of useful search terms.

""It's probably the temperature control flap sticking.

To get it working go in through the passenger door and look under the shelf under the glovebox. You will see an extension of the centre console under the dashboard. Pull it down and you'll see a small red lever with a white arm on it. Give it a wiggle and then turn the car on. It should now move and the air will go cool."

Lo, it absolutely was exactly that,

Didn't even have to take any of the interior apart.
