Wheels were completly fine, thank goodness! Still on the car with no scrapes and not even a flat tyre when the accident happened, I was very lucky.

Came home from buying paint to find a nice big parcel! Cupra grille and spoiler:funk:

And Ill take some pics of doing the bumper and maybe write up a guide if I have the time.

Car looks good mate. Good to see that it has been repaired.

Will look good when you get it back to how it was before your accident.

Talking of the wheels, what size tyres do you have on the Oz Super T's?? Ive got a set to go on my mk2 Ibiza and I need tyres and Im undecided whether to go with 195 wide or 205 wide tyres.

A few small updates.

Fixed the interior door handles...

Looks a lot better, but the shiny black does attract finger prints a lot more

I also added a mk5 Golf rear wiper to bring the rear into the 21st century :)

Haven't started on colour coding the front yet. But I have the paint and the Cupra grille in the garage, just need to find the time and get the Cupra spoiler sprayed and put on.

Hmmm, my last mods went down well! No comments  lol

Anyway time for another update.

Here's how the car currently stands.

Bumper off with bottom sanded down and primed.

Sprayed the whole bumper this time as it wasn't in the greatest condition. My pervious bumper was a lot better!

And here's the finished result with my two halves of a Cupra grille fitted and the foglights.

Then started fitting the mesh to the bottom. The previous mesh wasn't really salvagable from the accident so rather than buy more I thought I'd be cheap, and use the mesh from the front of a tractor lol. But it looks pretty well!

Thats as far as I've got with the mesh so far.

And finally I fitted the Cupra spoiler.

Apologies for the rubbish pics, they're from my phone. Will get some proper ones taken when it's all finished.

So that's my mods pretty much finished :(

I have the car looking how I want it. As far as 1.4's go its certainly unique and I'm very happy with it.

I could get carried away with the mods, and stick in a Cupra interior, lower it more etc. But I feel I would just be throwing money at the car, especially as I'm starting to save for a new car. Currently thinking along the lines of a red mk2 Leon with the BTCC kit, Not sure about what model yet! Possibly an FR if I can save enough pennies :) but ideally I'd love a Stylance with the sports seats. Though id be more than grateful for others suggestions on what to get next. (Bearing it mind it wont be for a good few months yet.

Cheers for the comments guys!

FR+ is that the one that looks like a Cupra R? They're amazing looking if so.

I guess I should start reading posts in the other sections of the forum to see whats hot and what not. It's amazing how little I venture out of the mk3 sections lol

I'm hopefully gonna keep the next car SEAT, I blame David at sere. He has me hooked on discounted parts and accessories!!!

Couldn't get rid of my rear wiper. I use nearly every day!!! Plus the mk5 Golf one is definetly an improvement over the standard one.

Are you coming to the meet in March?
