Cheers DK was all done from your thread. Was a massive help. Inside could be smoother which I may do another time. Still have to seal the air feed in properly too yet. You notice much noise difference from the holes? No performance loss through warmer air getting in? How's yours doing? See you stole Toms seats ;) I was badgering him a bit borderline stalking after his clutch and diff.

Awesome air feed. Where did you get the bits from as I'm looking to do the same.

The feed is Ram Air and it's a plastic 80mm diameter 500mm long. Very strong and will not collapse. As per DK's thread I have smoothed the airbox and used a dremel tool to make the I take hole fit and will cut a piece of black plastic to size to glue and fill in the hole that's left. But of black silicone to seal it all properly then install.

You will get a bit more noise if you drill the bottom half, not as much as with an open cone though.
I didn't notice any loss of performance when I drilled mine.

Me and Tom agreed ages ago that if he sold up then we'd do what we could to get the seats into my car :)

Good work it's a lovely rare interior!

Just fitted the box and I'm undecided as to remove the grill feed that runs to behind the headlight into my feed or not so it stays as more of a "ram" intake or not.....hmmm.

Will post pics when I have decided and it's finished properly. Going to take the air box out again and teflon coat the inside for super smooth air flow ;)

The hole in the piece of trim is smaller than your new feed pipe so if you leave it in you wont get the full benefit of the bigger feed pipe.

I heard my name a couple of times :)

That's right, DK got my seats, they're in good hands which is the main thing. Unfortunately you can't have the box and diff mate as I'm keeping the car now ;)

Lovely LCR by the way. Really like what you've done, that work at KDS detailing has really paid off! Looks really well mate.

DK I have plans for this intake... Watch this space ;)

Tom no worries, glad your keeping her and she is staying in one piece as she is a lovely example. Just think of me again if you ever part ;)

Thanks for the kind words I'm really happy with how it's coming along. KDS are like magicians with what they have done to the paintwork it's mint all over.

Doing major service this month and will be fitting both anti roll bars and injector seals and power gasket on inlet manifold.

Should all meet up sometime of were are all south east?

Ha ha, I will do mate, but I plan on keeping her now :p

Paintwork definitely does look mint, they've done a brilliant job.

I'm booking into AmD for cambelt/waterpump and thermostat soon myself. We should all meet up though definitely, maybe into the warmer months. I'm sure Darren will arrange something and hopefully an AmD rolling road day would be cool again.
