Whining under hard accelaration

Hi All,

Brand new here and this is my first post, I have a manual 2014 Leon FR SC 184 which has just gone past 30k miles. Today i noticed that in second and third gear, under 3/4 - full throttle there is a slight whine which seems to come from the gearbox. Its not loud enough to be annoying but is noticeable.

I don't notice it when off the throttle until low RPM's in second gear, almost the point where you would drop the clutch when coming to a stop. There i notice a whine.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has this? is it normal for these cars to hve slight whine in second when under hard acceleration?

I have the car booked in to have its turbo cooler bracket replaced on Tuesday next week, I might ask them to take a look at/top up the gearbox oil. Has anyone ever had to change their gearbox oil on a manual 6spd at <30k miles?
