I had to ask my friend for help, the first bolt on each side is very tricky to fit, very hard to get behind the water tank, need a lot of patience...

This is why I didn't use the provided bolts. I used roofing self tappers with the built in washers. Splitter has been on solid for 18 months
I would probably end up the same if it took 10 mins longer, i was on the edge with the hammer ready

So the Maxton arrived today.
No drilling markings and no glue
It feels like this is going to be fiddly....
I guess i will lift the car, use clamps to hold the side of the splitter and then drill into the bumper from my own markings or perhaps pre-drill the splitter and then use the holes as guides.

I didnt even realise Seat offered a front splitter! Any pics of it?
Im liking the look of the TRC one myself. Has anyone tried to fit one to the face lift model?

Long time no post, however after the wife got rear ended before Christmas the car is now finally being fixed. So the bodyshop working on the car is doing my splitter and colour coding the rear to match this:

Another shot from the front.
The dealership have agreed to order this part and offer it up to my car when it arrives as they're still not convinced that it will go on.
They're seeing in the brochure that it fits facelifted 3dr, 5dr and ST, but because it isn't marked against the CUPRA they believe it won't fit.
Strange as the blades are also listed in there in the same way and we know they fit.
I said to them that the CUPRA is a facelifted Leon , showed them that there's very little difference between the FR, CUPRA bumper and sent them the pics. So they have agreed to attempt it.

I’m a bit confused, it doesn’t look like desire red more like the block emoticon red. But I like the look of the front lip. Might enquire about it. Let me know how you get on.

Good point ... Looks like the same red as my 280.
Number plate reads FR and it looks a little off in this shot too.
I'll have my answer in a couple of weeks either way.
