Hi All

Car is now stage 2, standard clutch slipping like mad..

Was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on an uprated clutch? I understand Sachs & Helix are the faves...

Organic vs paddle?

I have the Helix organic clutch with OEM dual mass flywheel.
Bite and feel is like standard clutch but a slightly heavier pedal.

What was your clutch like on your stage 1 map pal?

I have just had a single mass flywheel and a sintered Sachs paddle clutch put in mine and it is quite heavy but still use able for a daily drive

Is that the 4 paddle one?

If so I think that's what I have ordered... good to hear positive feedback!

Yeh it is the 4 paddle , sintered , Sachs is a nice bit of kit

Just got it fitted, what a difference. Not as bad as I first thought, although I stalled leaving the workshop

Hugely recommend sachs at the moment, hoping it lasts a while...

I have Sachs sintered plate clutch too and DMF from LUK.
It was perfect from installing, but its making whining noise now (when releasing clutch pedal)
