Okay, here goes...
A couple of days ago I changed the spark plugs to NGK PFR's and the car had been fine, as it runs an APR stage 1 remap. But 2 weeks later, it misfires like crazy on cylinder 3 (vagcom). but it only does it around (what is reading to be) about 32-36psi boost.
So, I turned the map off and have been running it in stock mode and its been fine!
Until this morning, I stopped on a hill behind a bus, the car went into 1st gear and wouldnt move.. It just sat there and revved as if I was in neutral. Turned the engine off and back on again and its fine..
Now Im not saying that these things are related, but Im a uni student who cant afford a gearbox replacement
Anyone got any ideas?
