Yeah I got a Christmas offer and think it's worth it for the stuff I've been able to add to the car

Yeah I find Carista very good too, but there are limits to what they have managed to code,

I've coded this on my 2016 alhambra with OBDEleven works great now, also found how to get the digital speed on the MFD.
I got that straight away was the 1st thing I done with carista.
Also previous owner has disabled locking doors when driving. And coming home lights so got those sorted out.

The code is in this thread.
But as I already said you should have folding mirrors from the mirror knob.

Hi baba_metca, I've got a 2011 Alhambra and I was able to use VCDS to make this modification. So now when I hold down the lock button on the key fob for a couple of seconds the mirrors fold in.

Here's the original thread:

You will need the VCDS software and the dongle to do the modification though.

Hi all,

New SEAT Alhambra (2018 Xcellence model) owner here. Really enjoying the car but so frustrated with the non-automatic folding mirrors. Everything else is automated!!

I have used OBDeleven in the past so am quite familiar with it and used the app to enable automatic folding mirrors but unfortunately it hasn't worked. I've also checked the long coding and can confirm Byte 4, Bit 6 for both Driver and Passenger Door modules.

But I cannot seem to get it to work at all. With long holding the lock button and with the mirror control knob in various positions.

To confirm, it is definitely got motors in the mirrors. I can manually fold them in using the mirror control knob.

For those that have managed to get it to work, what am I potentially missing!? Did they remove the enabling in the facelift model!

Thanks,
Mike
