How long have people gone without doing oil changes on their TDI’s? Just eager to know, My workhorse has done 33,000 mile since its last service 2 years ago!

And you had a PD150 engine too. What a shame, that was a nice engine.

In case the message is not obvious, you don't delay oil changes on turbo engines, or diesel engines. You are now an accident waiting to happen.

My PD150 gets serviced every 6-8k miles using 5w40 505.01 spec quantum oils pal, i have another workhorse which is a PD130, cost me next to nothing, and i havent had to spend a penny on it, purely a workhorse...still sounds sweet to be fair! Just goes to show how durable these engines really are!

Why would you even risk it? Oil and filter is sub £30 and will take an hour of your time... This should be the bare minimum you do even if you don't spend anything else on it

I do my oil every 10k using pd spec oil. Id rather spend £30 every 10k than have to change engines/turbos/cams tbh.
