No problem.

For the other chaps, I wouldn't talk about a cracked version or a VAG-COM keygen here on a public forum... especially when there are Ross-Tech employee's registered here. ;)

Surely the version of VAG-COM mentioned here is the shareware version with limited functionality. There are lots of places in UK to buy legal versions of VAG-COM - they will all have been properly licensed to sell this product by Ross-Tech - and offer local support which can be quite important in the case of cars or engines not supplied to USA.

Thanks very much for this

I was getting annoyed with the Selective locking not unlocking all doors on Auto unlock , i cudnt find out how to turn it off so i bought Vag-Com ebay special but it wudnt let me turn off the Auto Unlock because it wont let me press the save button.

Followed the guide tonight changed the number from something like 00016 to 00017 and now the Auto Unlock ,unlocks everything:D

Selective locking is driving me MAD!!

Hi everyone, i just recently traded my Mk3 cupra in for a Mk4 diesel, i'm loving it (despite what people warned me about buying the diesel verson) but the selective locking is driving me nuts! I know this is cheeky, but is there anyone local to me (Sutton in Surrey) that has the VAG COM kit already and would be willing to disable my selective locking for me? There's beer money in it for you! and i have a laptop to do the work on if that makes it easier :D

hi guys,

ive just been reading with interest about selective locking, my daughters newly purchased used seat locks by itself when she starts to drive can this be altered by using vag com or equivelant.

second question though im proberbly peeing in the wind here with it, can the doors be selected aswell as since auction purchase we have had problem with door not unlocking on passenger side.
thanks

I tried to recode the Central Convinience to disable the selective locking but it failled to do it. VCDS came up with a session disconnected warning. Am i missing something? My VCDS is the full version using an Ebay lead, does it need to be CanBus?
