Not necessarily an Altea question, but i'm sure it would be relevant for all Seat's. My wife drives a 1.4s Ibiza, and today on her way to work the engine warning light came on on the dash. She drove to my parents after work to pick up out daughter, and the light was on all the way. She came back out to her car, started it and the warning lamp was off and didnt come on again. i have been out in it tonight, nothing seems wrong, light didn't come on, started and stopped the engine a few times and didn't come on (other than the usual when you first turn the key).

Any ideas anyone.

Hi penfold, the light can come on for so many reasons, the fact that it has gone out show's nothing big, maybe a bad reading on a sencor, if you know anyone with vagcom or pop into your dealer it should have stored a log of the fault.
