Rear passenger side footwell found to be soaking today. I had a similar problem in my 2004 Toledo but in the front passenger footwell. That was fixed by trading the car in :)

Anyone else had this, and if so, can you recommend the best way to fix it please.

Yeah I heard about that, but I also heard that there may be other possible reasons?

Check the pollen filter as well. Sometimes the drainage channels clog up and water will come through the front foot well and drain to the back. That's what mine was. It's simple to replace the pollen filter and get the channels cleared.

Really easy to sort the seal as well mate, i know midland VW charge 25 for two doors sealed.

Its just a case of removing the door car, and sealing really. There are a couple of threads on this.
