My 2011 Leon has an absolute awful horn. Once while driving I kept the horn pressed for about 30-60sec & I could just about hear the proper horn the way a horn should really be.

Is it the low tone or high tone horn thats blown & needs replacing. Taking my car for servicing soon & thought get the horn fixed aswel.

Sounds exactly like this

You need to get a stebel nautilus... I had one on my mx5 used to scare people it's like a truck horn. I find the one on my mk2 is awful too... not sure how hard it is to swap in terms of access etc.

Underside of the engine bay, on the passenger side IIRC - easy to get to (unless I was looking at the wrong thing!)

Do Leons have two horns, one on each side where the fog lights are?
Or is there just one horn?

Because it seems like my low tone horn has blown & only high tone is working. So i'm guessing low tone horn is on the driver side & high tone is on the passenger side or the other way round.

Somebody tell me if i'm wrong?

I have the same problem, my horn sounds like your car.
My car is a 2011 Seat Leon FR Facelift.

Evening buddy,

Did you get anywhere with your high tone horn? I seem to have the same issue...

Was it fixable by yourself of did you got to a garage?

Cheers
