Citroen AX 1.1 - basic start but actually quite nippy - well it was half plastic! :D
Polo 1.3 - special edition in Jade green with alloys - solid but slow :(
Metro 1.4S - basic trim except improved stereo, 8v engine gave it some go :)
306 1.6 - liked the car but no power :(
Honda company cars for last 7 years (mostly Civics), incl previous Type R - great cars, but no 5-door Type R...

Now in Mk2 Leon FR - looks great, goes great and 5-door practicality!

Prior to Seat - Evo 9 320 - 12 mpg or 200 miles for £60 of petrol  not great when I do 18,000 mile per year

FR TDi (for 30months) 42 mpg :)

Now (last week) FR TFSI averaging 32.5 mpg very happy nothing wrong with the diesel just wanted to go back to petrol. :D

After all to be a petrol head surely you need to drive petrol ??

:-o

Are you kidding?

Leons are far more reliable than any Ford!

You must have had some bad luck there sunshine...

Had the puma for 2 and a half years. Never had one problem with it. Only time it went in the garage was for mot's and services and for a new bumper when someone ran into the back end. Never had a creek or rattle. Yes the leon is a lovely looking car but 2 turbos in a year and bits falling off it and the numerous creeks and rattles that come from it I'd say that the puma was a far better car. Even concidering selling the leon as I can't afording to replace the turbo again if it blows again

My previous car was a BMW M3 convertible.

Due to fuel costs and a new addition to the family I had to change my ride. I looked for something with poke and decent economy.

Ended up with the Leon FR, and very happy with it too.

I had a Mk 1 Focus RS.

Now Leon Fr Tdi, enjoying the mpg but doesn't handle as well.
