Hi guys, first post of many no doubt as ive just bought a 2013 1.8TSI FR in lima green
So last week ,on a bit of a whim I put a bid on secondhand DTUK FSI+ box for a 18.tsi DSG from ebay
unfortunately I didn't fully do my research and it seems there are different boxes for manual and DSG equipped cars .
I have fitted and tested it and it seems to be working without any obvious issues ,pulling pretty hard on programme 3 but I'm concerned that I may end up doing some long term damage ,if the map is wrong for the car .
so what is everyone's opinion ,do I put it back on ebay and buy the manual one new, from DTUK.
Or leave it on ,as it seems to be doing what its supposed to .
cheers

Thanks Blade its worth a try
Tho I'm not sure they offer advice or support if you have a second hand box.

Ive just spoken to Andrew via the DTUK webchat and the box will need to be returned to them to be reprogramed.
The cost for this is £97.95 ,not too bad for the peace of mind of having everything working as it should.
