Steering Pump replacement

Hi guys I just bought a new Steering Pump replacement along with a new belt but have not done this job before,

any help advice or photos of the job please?

is it an under the car job as not even looked where it is yet.

Yep right at the bottom beneath A.C. compressor.
It's pretty simple to remove, just bolts.
Remember to loosen the 3 pulley wheel bolts before removing the belt so it's held in place.

will have to take a look in morning as all the photos I seen seem to be on different seats and the engine is out

I did this a few months ago, there is videos on youtube where they change the pump on a passat or golf which has the same engine. I got a litre of new fluid and did the tensioner and belt as wel.

did it use up a whole litre of fluid as I do have some new here but its been used once to top up my tank to check it was not that causing the noise

will check for a vid to watch unless you have a link for me and anyone else who has to do this job
