Hi all

Since fitting my paddle clutch and SMF occasionally I was experiencing clutch drag.

This is when you are travelling to a stop and drop down into 1st gear. Even though the clutch is fully pressed the car still inches foward; a bit like an auto when in drive and you take foot off brake.
.

Anyway initially I though slave cylinder which is a pig to change (gearbox out) but came across the shim mod.

Completed today and I have to say it has all but disappeared. No clutch drag anymore!!!

The shim mod apparently cures a number of gearbox issues, the following thread is a good reas and part numbera are correct

I've been meaning to do this to stop/decrease the wine in third. Not loud but bothers me.
How do you find the SMF? She comfortable in traffic?
