Just a quick view on this garage . I've had a car of these before and can't fault them in the slightest always happy to help and excellent comms . After a while of owning a ds3 (forgot to mention I'm a motability customer) the time come to choose a new car initially I wanted to replace my ds3 with another . After phoning 2 dealerships and being promised a call back then not receiving one I popped into pullman (based in Sunderland I forgot to add lol) and decided to look at the leon that I now have . The guy that deals with motability customers was busy but the sales manager came out and showed me round a few models had me test them for comfort then offered me a drink while I wait to which I was surprised as most garages I've dealt with are nowhere near as helpful or attentive as this . The guy then came over to show me to his desk (Kev mcnamara I think his name was) and asked which car and model I was interested in so I explained to him what I was after and that I needed a car in the shortest time possible as my other car was going back very soon . He looked on the computer and had one available in the exact spec and colour I wanted and even better told me he'd be able to get me it in just over a week which was excellent. So i decided that these were the garage for me and I couldn't be happier . They go out of there way to help and are always in touch throughout every step . Now my car got delayed by a few days and as way of compensation they even gave me a half tank of fuel which I've never had when getting a car and the sales guy himself collected me so I could get my car . I really can't praise this place enough and recommend anyone in the area to use these as there service is second to none :D

can't argue with service like that, manners cost nothing and communication is everything.

coming to collect you is going the extra mile in customer service you could count dealers like that nationwide on one hand i bet

I totally agree nothing was too much for them and that's rare . My old leon from them whatever needed fixing was done without hesitation even the fine details are amazing such as free fluid top ups and valet when it's in for work

I bought my Passat CC from their Sunderland VW dealership. Communication was first class throughout. I drove 240 miles to pick it up and even though the sales guy I had dealt with was away on a stag w'end. He handed everything over and the whole experience was first class.

He even had the courtesy to call me on his first day back to check everything was to my satisfaction. Can't say fairer than that.

Didn't realise they had a SEAT dealership too. The group is obviously well managed.

Well since I picked up my car, on the 29/7, finally had it back today 3rd time they had it. First time massive wheel wobble after new tyres fitted, 2nd time to fix paint work agreed on purchase not done and headlight adjustment (xenons), 3rd time fix over spray, lacquer peal, more headlight adjustment, wheel wobble, few other issues like I was promised new pads and wipers ruined due to over spray. Guess what still not happy, no phone calls from complaints dept, no new pads fitted, no wipers fitted, headlight adjustment not done (just fixed it myself) but paint work good ( as good as can see in light drizzle). See if I get a phone call next week to see if I am happy. I wouldn't buy another car from them as long as I have a whole in my arse! Warning guys/gals

If i actually get a phone call asking if everything is ok, will give them both barrels :D, but i won't hold my breath as i have had no phone calls to update or say sorry so far

Personally after this experience i won't be gong to either Sunderland or Durham branch

My workmate had a bad experience recently when looking to buy a new Leon Cupra. He had agreed a price on the phone with finance examples etc. He took a day off work to sign paperwork etc and when he got there he was introduced to the sales manager who then told him that they couldn't/wouldn't honour the deal agreed.

My friend was angry as they could have just phoned him to let him know but they obviously wanted him on site to try and get him to pay more as they both followed him back to his car harassing/begging him to come back and discuss it even trying to talk to him through his car window as he drove off.

I bought my Leon FR from there many years ago and found them excellent but recently things seem to have gone downhill.

Update-I didn't receive a follow up call, so I thought I would send an email to there after sales manager, just giving my experiences. Finally called today after he said he had spoken to all parties, will some up, "its a used car and sometimes peoples expectations are higher than others", I really couldn't be arsed to argue or ask for anything as I really don't think I trust this garage, so in the end we left it as I am happy with what I have now but the experience has really put me off ever using Pullman group ever again.

Let this be a warning for us all.........

Pulman Delivering a fantastic customer experience .... mmmmmmmmmmm ok, as long as it aint used?
