Yeah, I'd like to recommend it. But the first 2 SPS devices I had were faulty. Luckily it was only the map settings I needed to adjust. If I were abroad at the time, I'd have been stuffed if the anti-theft was on. If your really worried, the fuel pump relay fuse is really easy to remove. Without it, the engine will stall and not restart. Just remember the location it came from :D

Oh, I misread. Stage 1 needs no hardware. Its software only. Stage 2 requires an intake, exhaust (minimum) and an intercooler (preferred).

Hmmm, I assume you can choose to have the Anti theft on or off so if I did go abroad and wanted to not use it that would be fine. I think because my car will be parked up for 4 days without me using it whilst as a few gigs in Germany I think removing the Fuel pump fuse sounds like a plan I will do some research to it's location and get some pictures to help in the putting back haha.

Ahhh ok cool so I can just go in with £500 and say map my car to Stage 1... that's nice. Did Revo stick it on the Dyno after doing the map as my previous map on my FR was a superchips thing you just plug in...

Apologies for all the questions you have been most helpful

Cheers

The SPS device is an optional extra. I paid £120 I think for mine. But you don't have to have one. I bought mine cause I was doing stuff with the electrics so knew it'd come in useful. But generally, you have it mapped and you should just be able to forget about it. The SPS is required to switch the anti theft on or off though. Without it, it stays off.

Yeah, most places that do maps have a dyno. I got it back with the map installed and a graph. But there are loads of places that will dyno your car for your anyway. So eg, I could stick an intercooler on and then dyno it again and see if I've made any power from it.
