I've had my mk2 FR+ for about a year now and despite trying to get rid of it before xmas I've decided to keep it. On the last mot one of the shocks was weeping so instead of just buying oem I've decided to upgrade and have a little fun as well as try and sort out the bone shaking ride. I've read a few good reviews on the suspension kit and have a few questions.
Will I need to fit new drop links or any other parts due to the drop in ride height?
Is it more comfortable than stock?
And will i need a full 4 wheel alignment?

Many thanks, mogsy

No you shouldn't need new drop links unless your current ones are worn out but it is advised to change the top mounts and bearings whilst fitting the kit.

I wouldn't say it will be more comfortable then standard but it definitely isn't an uncomfortable kit.

Yes it's always advised to do a full alignment check after changing any suspension part.

Ok Damian thanks,

What about the strut size, some companies are selling these shocks at two different sizes 50 and 55mm will that make a huge amount of difference?

Ok, are they the 55mm you sell on your site?
Would there be any other products you'd recommend at a similar price to this?

Which one of those 3 would you suggest?

Kinda want to keep some comfort there too, I understand it's not going to be perfect but it is still my daily

The main difference is the KW V1 kit is height adjustable and also has stainless steel housing, the ST springs and shocks kit will give a better ride quality though as most springs and shocks kits do over coilovers.
