Hey guys!

I have a cupra k1, a few weeks ago the car stopped revving past 4k rpm, so I stopped driving it and a few people look at it and found that my hpfp had a crack in the top sensor, so I thought this was the problem with it not going past 4k rpm? I've got that changed and now the car just refuses to start, anyone have any similar problems or know of anything that could sort it? I've had the spark plugs out, checked the battery but that's about as far as my engine knowledge goes to be honest, if anyone has any suggestions or knows anything that could resolve the issue would be appreciated, the code that came up at first was the fuel pressure regulator but I just assumed that with the hpfp having a crack it might of just read it wrong..

Thanks!

Could it be an air lock? Each time you open the drivers door you should be able to hear the fuel pump prime! Is this happening? I'm not well up on mechanics but just a thought really.
