I think we pretty much have a good selection to choose from, myself an m0rk have some things to do to the user groups in the meantime. We'll let people know in due course, once we've made the alterations we need to make.

But initially we think that some areas will come under the scope of a few moderators rather than having specifically one specialist moderator per section. But we'll see.

We think General Topic and Models for example should be generally moderated so any moderator can shift stuff not posted in a relevant area to the right area. But we will work it out and let you know.

As I said those who moderate for us we expect to show responsibility! Your becoming direct representatives of this site so we are putting our trust in you. Were very protective of SCN, you may of noticed. So we would expect moderators to uphold the same principles we do and help us protect SCN's good name.

Were not taking a back seat, but you'll be helping us out a great deal and the community too.

if you don't get chosen, please don't take it personally. Its not a personality contest, but we have a good idea of the kind of people and experience were after. As they say too many cooks spoil the broth, so its just a selection of people to start with. We will monitor it and add to if required.

Though it's a status change, it's no different than being a normal member, your just becoming more of a volunteer. :)

I'm on here most days, so would be willing to give a moderating hand if wanted - I could look after the very small and well behaved Arosa section or something :)
