Now Now. If folks want to leave for whatever reason and want their account removing, I'm not standing in their way. As I've said before we've no reason to force people to remain registered if they don't want to be.

How long had he been a member? Did he have many posts?

A few hundred, didn't notice when he joined, I didn't take that much notice to be honest, I just pressed delete.

How very odd. Must be having a very bad day??? Hope he's not depressed.

Just odd... most (if nto 99%) of the members on here see this as primarily a SEAT enthusiast site, but are also well aware of its other topics and interests that are covered. Its like a community based on and around SEATS... odd for someone to leave, let alone want to be REMOVED/DELETED!

It happens once or twice a month, most usually people email us. Most of the time they are moving on, and just don't want their emails linked to the site any longer.

Its their choice at the end of the day, if there is anything underlying why they are not happy they can voice it to us, but they don't so I'm not about to ask either.

A huge amount more join the forum each month than are leaving it, you have to expect and accept that some people just move on. Some people get more involved, and even when they move on from SEAT they still hang around and contribute and we welcome that.

Some even come back

Accept what your saying Z just "I've decided I no longer wish to contribute" seems very odd and maybe worrying. Sounds like an underlying issue.
