Well done chaps, we wouldn't have our wonderful Seats I'm sure if the world went Nazi.

But...... If WW2 hadnt of happend , Hitler wouldnt of Teamed up With Porsche and Volkswagen wouldnt of been formed , Without VW the world of cars might of been a whole lot different , SEAT Might not even exist

Some good things did come out of Nazi Germany and Volkswagen was one of them

Though the company was formed under the Nazi's it was almost destroyed by the end of the war, with most of the plant producing arms it was bombed almost to destruction.

It was in fact the British that resurrected the company and got them producing cars again. So in a twisted logic its the Brits ie us that must be thanked for making them pretty much the largest car manufacturer on the planet. ;)

VW is still a long way behind both Toyota and General Motors in terms of manufacturing.

In fact Toyota produces almost 50% more than VAG.

Back on topic, it is a very nice Armistice banner.

A bit too late for this year, but would it be possible in future years as part of the shut down to say have a nice Armistice full screen piccy (e.g. Cenotaph, poppy fields etc) together with a note saying 'Lest we forget' or 'The Glorious dead' and the bottom of it?

So Jo Public logs on at the appropriate time with just that picture and note for the duration.

Just an idea???
