Android Auto on 2013 Leon

If you do a quick search in the main mk3 section you will find hopefully the information you need. It is as I understand possible but it would be expensive as you say and would need coding to get it to match into your car.

You could use the pioneer avic unit which works perfectly with the leon functions

Bengal, When you say the pioneer avic works perfectly with the leon functions do you mean that i can still have all the SEAT Menus and Functions running through the pioneer screen/head unit, I have not seen this mentioned before and bozogs would be looking to change if possible.

Just as an example the stuff I use and still want are

1/ All the various Cupra car modes (Comfort, Sport, Cupra, Individual)
2/ Sat Nav , Radio and Phone connections
3/ Car Settings Menu (so I can change the way stuff works in the car)

Any details you could give would be gratefully received

Last question and this is also for bozogs information what about component protection, if i take the old unit out does the new one plug and play without issues.

Bozogs if you try and fit any radio from any other car it may fit in the space but Seat Apply protection to it and only dealers (as far as I know or very expensive eastern european guys) can remove it (and dealers dont like to.) so it does not run in your car

Unfortunately I wasn't able to test those functions when I was in the dealer as wasn't installed in a vehicle so only the basic functions would work.

If you have a local seat garage that has it try testing out. I know definitely the voice command and everything steering related works

The above definitely won't work with any third-party head unit, you'd lose far more functionality than you'd gain.

The pioneer one has all seat car function settings on, so yes it would work fine, and probably cheaper too, Halfords have it fitted for £550

I loved the http://www.config.alpine.co.uk/!/seat/leon--3 but it has two flaws for me which is why I did not buy it in the end.

1/ it does not support traffic sign recognition (which I like a lot)

2/ According to their web site it also does not support Seat Sound system which is a bit of a downer as that is what i have.

Other than that it seems to be the perfect choice.

with regards to pioneer one do you have a link to it please as the ones i have seen start at 599 and dont have dab
