Leon FR TSI Remus vs Milltek

Which is better?!

All the vids I can find are TFSI FR's with it on and not the TSI's, not sure if that makes a difference in sound? Even though the same Milltek exhaust fits both I think. (http://www.awesomegti.com/car/seat/leon1p/milltek-cat-back-options-seat-leon-2-0tfsi-fr).

Also there's quite a few posts with people getting Milltek's saying it sound no different, and that would be a right kick in the d*ck after spending £450 on an exhaust for it not to make a difference!

The Remus seems less talked about and not as easily available as Milltek's (http://www.remusuk.com/model.asp?id=FR 2.0l 155 kW, 2010=>&mod=Leon II (05-12)&man=Seat), but I found this video with a new Octavia VRS which I think is the same engine and gearbox as the TSI FR and it makes the exact noise I want with DSG farts, would it be the same on the Leon?!

Personally i think that remus exhaust sounds horrible.

I have a cat back non-res milltek on my cupra and it does sound pretty good especially on full chat.

Tunnels and closed in areas will bring a smile to your face.

I'm sure getting the turbo back will make it louder as well.

I've had both on mine and i was indeed well pi$$ed when the Miltek was fitted as it sounded no different at all and to top it off the fitment is a lot worse than the Remus as well... When the weather warms up i'll be putting the Remus back on and selling the Miltek...

I like more of a raspy noise, Remus seems to be more raspy than the others. I think with that newer VRS it has a louder exhaust with DSG farts standard so I don't know what it sounds like on a Leon.

This is closest Milltek video I can find though https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTImO4PH6qg

I can get a cat back or sports cat down pipe for the same price, not getting both.

I'm guessing the downpipe would be the better option between the 2 for more noise and will have more gains?

I'd go with this! A bit more ££ but worth it, Milteks are well known for cracking welds etc! I've got one on my own mk4 so I'm not just slating them for the sake of it!

Its £476 without fitting or shipping, can get a cat back fitted closer to me for £450. The powervalve is only for full TBE exhausts as well.
