Hi all, have the 2011 cr170 that I purchased last year that has had the “fix”, before I bought the car. So far I’ve had one issue where it went into limp mode due to the egr, possibly due to supermarket fuel? Also noticed regens every 200 miles or so, not been as noticeable whilst running v-power, and the light hasn’t been back on. Also only seeing low 40’s.

My question is, I’m looking for a remap as it feels gutless compared to my mothers old leon 140pd, will a remap remove that nox software? As I can only imagine the egr going quicker with a map so ideally I’d want it removed. Any suggestions on who can do this? Or will it be a case of directly approaching tuning firms, as no one is giving a definitive answer on the net.

Thanks

Any mapping company worthy of that title can offer you a map based on the older software variant without the emissions fix. Me personally, I'd only ever go to a proper company, a VAG specialist, not one of these backstreet 'we map any car £120' places.

I’ve contacted a few of big tuners, including vag specialists and non have got back to me as yet. One independent tuner has and he takes it off or won’t map the car.

I’ve contacted them, still waiting. Granted it was via messenger, I’ll try email, I like to get things in black and white, then they can’t deny anything lol.
