2000 Ibiza 1.4 mpi non start problem

Hey guys,

A friend of mine has a mk3 Ibiza that's decided to Non-start. It was running fine upto a couple of weeks ago but not being used much, now he wants to use it wont run. Its cranking over fine.

The eml is not coming on the dash at all, not even for test sequence as you put the ignition on. I've tried to run it on vag-com but there is no comms with the ECU or anything else on the car for that matter.

Under cranking there is no spark and no fuel being injected. The throttle body isn't responding to any pedal action either.

I've checked the battery fuse board to be all ok, and all interior fuses are ok aswell. We have 12 volts at fuses 1,2, and 3 on the fuse board.

I've checked the connection to the ECU and they are all ok, its had the ecu replaced for a recon item at some point in the past as it has the recon companies sticker on it.

I need to check for feed into the ecu, Is there any chance anyone has a wiring diagram for this model. I think the engine code is AKK.

Any further suggestions to help me out are much appreciated too! Is there a relay I should check as well?
