Buying a kiwi green mk2 Cupra gti 16v

Hello I am looking at buying a mk2 kiwi green Cupra 16v

It has only done 72k

Has 12 months mot 6 month tax

My problem is the rear arches are rusty

How much are we looking at to get both resprayed thanks kris

Quite a bit I imagine

Personally it'd have to be very cheap (like £800 or less) and run it for a year then sell the engine, and gearbox and brakes and you'd have had a years motoring for free

Certainly not worth investing £1500 or so on arch work (they're a pain as they're not single skin)

the car is actully 800 :) but i wouldent want this car for just a year thats the problem id like to make a good go of it

You'd have to really love the car to spend to fix that.

To cut that back on inner & outer skins & 'make' new, paint down both sides is going to be dear.

Someone has had a good go at rear arches before, but I've not seen it for a long time!

Everything is do-able (fixing the arches) it just depends on how much money you wanna spend on the car. Might be worth it if you plan to keep it a long time. They are gettin rarer on the roads
