Seems to have a slight misfire on idle, new plugs, coil packs, injectors installed, and sometimes turbo won't come on I can release throttle re apply and it will take off but I'm sure I can hear a hissing. Needs the problem sorting and a custom map to match engine components I think. Revo stage 1 installed I was told

I read that places test the intake system with smoke to check for leaks? Finding one of these garages would no doubt be very helpful I'm guessing

Can't help as i'm in bristol. Repost the question in the leon mk1 section and it will get more views. Have you checked all the PCV hoses under the inlet manifold? Also worth checking that the dv isn't sticking open when it should be closed.

To be fair I have not checked those hoses I presume it's inlet off to properly check? I'm going to pressure test from the air filter to inlet manifold tmw just been watching a couple of videos on how it's done seems easy enough. Fingers crossed. I looked at people with foot pumps and ciggys on the go, but the cap and hook to a air compressor just set it 5 psi to start then up to 10-12 hopefully this will reveal my problem. If not I think the timing could be slightly out or I I did get a p0011 cam timing adjuster looks fun to do. Bloody thing I'll get it sorted lol

Did a pressure test today with a air compressor ,two bits of pipe and some electrical tape. No leaks at 22 psi I could hear until the cap end blew out with the pressure, what a noise lol. Went to seat to order a new vac pump spoke to the mechanic he said it could be a possible valve problem. Booked it in for £60 to find the fault I hope he does will update Friday.

Yeah good luck mate. If he can't sort it and distance is no issue, then badger5 (bill) who has his own section on the forum, http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=138 is the No1 person for dealing with these cars. It's an awful long way to drive though, i'm sure there must be somewhere closer to you that can sort it.

Just had my Leon Cupra R 225 remapped with Revo stage 1 Linear map. The Linear version is the same as the regular stage 1 map with the exception of the throttle response map - it's linear as opposed to the other Revo (and indeed stock) throttle maps which have a steeper curve, so now 50% throttle pedal = 50% throttle plate, as opposed to 75% throttle plate.

As said above, driving normally it's still easy and civilised, possibly even slightly more so with the linear throttle map, but when you plant the foot it pulls a lot harder. I feel like 4th now pulls harder than 2nd used to. Get it done smile
