Bought a boc from them about 2 weeks ago, I'll start off by saying the salesman was great! Generally a nice a guy and sorted me out a good deal. Nothing bad to say there.

The problems start 6 weeks down the line, when my front end was ruined with stone chips. Considering the only time i had driven on a motorway was the way home, I was disappointed.
I know cars get stone chips, but this is ridiculous. My guess is the paint has been plastered on too thick.

Anyway been chasing the dealer for 4 weeks now and have actually given up. 6 times I have been told they would ring me back, by 4 different people. I've emailed pictures, the manager has seen them and made a decision(Apparently). The last phone call was it for me, I was told "I'm with he manager now, he will ring you in two minutes" Again no phone call. I am extremely disappointed with the way I have been treated. Basically they are mugging me off, I would prefer them to admit they aren't going to do anything about it. Rather than telling me they will ring back and not bother!

Next step for me is a complaint through seat directly.

Had this on my old grey mk2, front end was pebble dashed ......bumper, bonnet was a mess

Known fault with Seat, if its a mk 2 the bonnet design doesnt help, the angle it sits at

Oops I bought it a few months ago, not 2 weeks ago aha!
Yeah I heard it's a common problem, still to be resolved :(
Absolutely love the car though, so much fun to drive.

It's the water based paint that all manufacturers use now, it is too soft, try changing to a metallic colour, and it's a lot better, plus darker colours are less likely to show after touch up. Have black now for both 280 and my CBF bike, no stone chips.:D
