Just back in country, and I want to make the car look a bit sportier.

Has any one had fitted the Eibach 30mm lower springs or the H&R 35mm?

If so, how much was the total cost, and how is the ride subsequently?

Also probably getting a set of 18inch RS6 reps with a suitable offset (planning on using spacers to change the bolt pattern from 5x100 to 5x112 )

Oh and does anybody know if the top of the bootlid is the exact same shape as a Skoda Rapid, because I want a spoiler from Superskoda as well?

Well that plans completely gone for a Burton!

Somehow ended up splashing 9k on a brand new Ibiza for the wife at SEAT today.

Think I may still afford the springs and some spacers, but the new rims - forget it.

What tyres do you have mate? I'm looking at replacing all four soon, probably before winter but the fact they are 17's is reducing the selection available a touch. Seem to be a wider selection for the 16's.

Thanks. I found a few more last night although I was searching with the profile at 45 and not 40.

Like the look of Yokohama BluEarth-A AE50 at £78 a corner fitted.

Definitely need new tyres now. 1st MOT today, failed due to a knackered tyre. With two of the others coming towards the end of life a full set required.

I'm on 49k so assume these are at least the second set. Two of them are 'feathering' on the outside so looks like they need a good balance or something also.

For a couple of days this week I had my mind set on getting rid and leasing for a couple of years but the prices offered to get rid were dreadful so decided to keep it.

4 Avon ZV5's fitted today and I must say they feel excellent and at £67 a corner great value.

Bad news. On fitting it was discovered I have two buckled wheels which are both now on the rear. Bit of a body blow that although they are likely to have been like that since before I got the car.

I've got some 16" wheels off my old white rapid (wheels are normal colour!)

Still on the OEM Contis at 33000. they're legal, but have had no wet grip since 28000 and now the dry cornering is getting more and more oversteery. must do something. Anybody tried Falken Ecorun?
