Finally ran clutch in......well done 478 miles which is darn close enough. Track day early March so will give me enough time to sort brakes, tyres and suspension...also 4bar FPR.

Coming along nicely at the mo.

Awesome cars those. Since owning a Langley turbo, known as a sunny turbo here, I've had a soft spot for Nissans. Only problem the rust issue which is probably only rivalled by Lancias.

Sunny Turbo......well thats a rare beast!!!! Aye Nissans do rot....especially the rear 1/4 which my first R32 had.

TBH even though I miss them the Cupra R is still a hoot.

My cupra is in a very different league, performance and build quality wise, but I owned that when turbo cars were a bit of a novelty and it was quick. Loved the look on the faces of gti, gte drivers's faces when they could not keep up with the little jap crap. Weekends were spent at illegal race meets, good times those.

I remember those days and I remember the cars. Friend had a Nova GTe and the other a 205 Gti 1.9. Racing other cars on industrial estates.

Then someone came with a 1993 Impreza Turbo and it destroyed everything. And that was it for me. Jap fever set in.

Sounds similar to my experience, first car a mk2 escort 1600 sport running a newly rebuilt motor with a set of delortos 45's and performance exhaust and mani and I was DA MAN!!! Along came a newly released Fiat uno turbo and it felt like I was in reverse. I had to have that.

Cleaned her up and got some decent shots. Also managed to fit the fpg light covers so front bumper looks finished. Will post some photos later.

Removed mid section of zaust so I can eliminate the resonator (baffle) and get a bit more noise.

Going to order the above then its off to be remapped.

Both 3 inch. Hopefully getting my resonated box back tomorrow after having it cut out. I will get some sound clips up of before and after to compare noise.

Ok. Spoke to Revo and Unit 20 and I dont need the 4Bar FPR. So booked in for Revo stage 2 next Friday.

Just been out in mates R26 Megane F1 which he got mapped to 350bhp today and thats an animal.

I will be happy with 275/280 and 300 ft lbs.
