cars booked into the garage soon anyway but would kind of like a rough idea of what may be wrong and how much im looking at

basically pd100 (ibiza mk4) just gone over 50k miles

anyway problems for the past month

patches of the car being so resistant and not wanting to move/rev BUT the brakes seem better than normal. then once i have braked heavily the car/engine frees up loads and feels alot more powerful and actually feels like it wants to move BUT the brakes feel sh*t

so anyone had any similar symptoms or anyone want to hazard a guess as to what may be causing it.

so far i have 3 possible theories
1) one of the calipers is sticking and once the brakes have bin pressed heavily it releases and frees it up (this wouldnt account for the not wanting to rev though)
2) something is up with the vaccum pipes (could be since i had the boost gauge fitted and removed)
3) ecu problem possible?

try a brake fluid flush for starters and a visual check on the calipers too

early abs units were known to block up with congealed fluid but a flush through and beelding will hilight any issues there
