Replacing coolant in a 110TDi ASV

As my temp gauge isn't working and the current coolant is brown due to garage topping up my G12 with blue stuff I thought I'd attempt to drain it all and flush and replace it.

After a few watches of YouTube vids I popped the bonnet and saw the temp sender was pretty easy to get to. Jacked the car up on stands and looked around for the drain that's supposed to be on the right side of the radiator... but couldn't see anything. Didn't help only using my phone light :D (inspection lamp on its way now).

Can anyone point out a photo or video of what I'm looking for? Ta.

One more thing. When I'm flushing the old stuff out would tap water be ok or should I throw a bottle of distilled water through?

For the flush tap will do but when refilling use distilled. If you can't get distilled easily, boil and filter tap water (to catch sediment from Kettle).

The boil will get rid of much of the minerals to cause scale, not so important if you are in a soft water area. But distilled would be best.
