I have only recently got myself a Leon Cupra TDI 150 and I am loving it so far.
One thing i have noticed with it is how loud the turbo is!! is it normal for them to be so loud? The turbo whistles quietly but its the "tttsssshhhhhh" as it builds up with im kinda worried about and want to know if this is normal! it sounds like there is no air filter on it but there is! Its totally standard and its got 42k miles on it so should really have too much wear! It doesnt smoke, only a slight puff as you put your foot down and on start up and it goes like the clappers!!! I checked for boost leaks and cant find any anywhere. Do they have a wastegate that vent the boost off when they are really warm as i have noticed that its alot louder when been in traffic or its been on boost a few times. I'm probably being over cautious but just want to make sure its ok!
