Mine came on for the first time this morning :(

Anyone know what the exact name of the sensor I need is please for when I drop into SEAT later? The parts guy is really helpful but hasn't got a clue about SEATs

Hi people,

The past few days ive had this red light that your all talking about come on, my temp gauge goes up to 120(max) the water starts boiling, my heater is passing cold air when on full and on hot, and this morning i was driving work and my oil light came on so i thought right this isnt right, pulled over took the dip out and the oil was steaming as if it was burning.

I dont know if this is the thermostat or something a bit more major? any help would be much appreciated! btw its a 2001 leon s if that helps.

Cheers jay.

Hi Jay
May be worth asking the question in the vehicle specific section rather than being tagged on to an old post ;)
