I picked up my new cupra Friday and thought would spend the weekend giving it a good clean. Started out with the usual clean, clay bar, clean, dodo juice lime prime lite then meguires ultimate wax. The wax was fine for my last car but for some reason really not come out right on the new car. Roof and bonnet has come out really streaky and all over not the result was expecting. Although put a thin layer on it was a nightmare to come off. I had left it to haze as normal but really has not worked with this car.
I'm going to switch back to dodo juice wax but wondering if I have to start right from scratch with a clay bar to get rid of the old wax or is there a good product to use? Been reading about dodo juice need for speed or Angelwax stripped ease wax remover? Anyone used these or can recommend anything else please??
