Hi Guys!

I am a new member. Just recently bought a Seat Leon FR Tdi 20017.

The battery light in constantly flashing. I have had this checked, and have been told that the battery is fine and also that the alternator seems to be charging ok too.

Car starts and runs fine. So not sure what the issue could be? Any ideas?

Also, the clock and trip meter reset every time the car is turned off and on.

Any help would be appreciated :)

Wouldn't be surprised if the two are linked.

is it a 2007 or 2017?

I mean if it's 2017 surely take it to the dealer...

I have got the exact same thing happening at the moment.

Battery light flashing and clock is reset each time of starting the car. Also I find that the battery drains and wont start if left for more than a day!

Did you resolve this after?

Thanks

Morning, All sorted thanks for everyone's help really couldn't of done it without you. Turned out to be missing fuse no 6 from the engine bay fuse box or at least someone put it in the AQ gearbox slot number 5 which I assume I don't need being a manual, not driven anywhere yet so I'm sure I'll find out soon enough, but thanks again really appreciate it.
