Alloy wheel refurb guide

Adam,is it possible to do this in a day? my front two wheels have been kurbed quite a bit:redface: so i'd need to fill, n sand them ,rears are fine.

Am thinking of going down the black alloys route for a change.

Think I will have to do this on my alloys previous owner curbed them pretty bad.
Are you just doing this in the garage? do you take them into the house or use a heater to dry them as its getting cold now?

Just wondering would like to do this soon but not best time of year to tackle it,

I've got another set of genuine S-Lines that I'm doing silver at the moment.....just takes a bit longer to dry in this weather but nothing a heat gun won't sort out.

awsome post dude i really thinking of having a go on my cupra starfish alloys i hope it is prity straight forward as you make it sound haha. was thinkin of keeping the spokes and centre hub silver, mask it off an do the rest of the wheel black think it could look quite good what do you guys think ?

nice job dude they look nice how long did it take you and how can i post picture off my computer cause it only asks for the url haha

It took a week all in...
You have to have an account with a site to host your pics (loads of free ones like Photobucket or Flickr etc.) Save your pictures to the site, then you can post them up!

orite ok thanks buddy. thats the only thing that im worryed about i hope i can do it a bit quiker really but the job quality is more important haha. il post a picture of what im thinkin of doing.
