That seems excessively long considering I ordered on 19th October!!:confused:

Bit annoying considering when I was at the dealers they quoted about 10-12 weeks.

Did you order the 1.5 TSI? If so the reason is they have only just started to build them.

I ordered mine 20th october, got the alcantara so I hope I get the new dash! Been told delivery end of feb/start of march. Though I’ve said I’d rather wait for the new plate.

I have done the same... not normally bothered but couldn't justify getting a 67 plate for 2/3 weeks before the 18 reg plates come out!

I think the leather seats are no longer an option as they are no longer showing on the configurator, which is a shame as I was planning on getting them. I have asked the dealer to confirm but not yet had a reply. If any one could find out and confirm that would be great.

You’re right it’s been removed. Not sure why, the only reason I can think of is that the leather seating and differences are causing too mich backlog for orders, who knows.

My dealer just confirmed the removal a few minutes ago. he says they arent sure the exact reason for its removal, but thinks it could be because they are not selling well and the likelihood of them replacing it with something else is quite slim. I wouldve thought this wouldnt really be a problem as the excellence still gets the seats and the cars are the same internally but oh well. I guess the normal seats will have to do. Saves me a bit of money I guess.

Well, It wasn't real leather so you've not really missed out on anything eh?

I suppose but I did prefer the look of them over the standard. Thought they looked a little classier. Also ties in with this thread as I am now wondering if I will get the leather dash, which I prefer massively over the gloss black piece. I guess I'll just have to wait and see

I ordered my 1.5 FR with alcantara seats in early december. I assume Seat will still honour the existing orders?

I would assume so. They have only just removed them as an option today so it should be fine. By the way, what kind of build time have you been told? I am ordering mine next saturday and ideally need it for April but Im not confident itll happen as I'm going for quite a loaded spec.

They told me 12-14 weeks. Mine is fully loaded too.

Sounds pretty good, quite similar to what im planning actually. 1.0 DSG FR, mystery blue, 18" wheels, led headlights, beats audio, spare tyre, keyless, dual zone climate control, connectivity hub, vision pack plus, illuminated side sills and adaptive cruise control. i reckon mines going to be a four month wait but on the plus side, my birthdays on 1st may so maybe i could get it by then

I’m glad it’s not real leather, I’m far too concerned ethically for that.
I ordered mine on 20th October, been told end of February/March. I got the 1.5 EVO Tsi, leather seats, keyless entry, nevada metallic paint, full LED headlights, beats sound ssytem, dual clinate control, vison pack plus, 18inc wheels, also enquiring about adding the sports styling kit.

That's quite a worryingly long wait time. The good news is I'm almost guaranteed to get an 18 plate at that rate. The bad news is I'm not going to have a car for a while as my current insurance expires on the 1st April and I'm almost certain there's no way they'll be able to get me a car by then
