Hello,
This is my first post on this forum,
I have a cupra '280' with a straight pipe, k & n filter and map.
The clutch has started slipping so I have ordered a sachs performance clutch kit a long with a sachs dual mass flywheel and the release bearing.
I am quite new to clutch changes so I was wondering is there anything else I need to get before I hand the parts over to be fitted?

Also, are there any other supporting mods that people will recommend when running about 350 bhp

Thanks:)

Hi, I have a Sachs performance clutch kit with the uprated release bearing and a new OEM DMF in my cupra 290 you should not need anything else the garage who fitted the kit told me that one of their previous customers had the same kit fitted to a golf gti running 430hp 412lb/ft without any issues. I am currently standard at the moment accumulating parts first before I make a move. Also for the supporting mods, you could benefit from a dogbone mount insert to help prevent wheel hop cheap little mod to do which makes a difference. Hope this helped :).
