Evening all,
I'm having a bit of a moment if you could help out...
I have a 2010 (60) leon Cupra R with the RNS310 running version 0231.
I would like to use my ipod classic 160gb in my car to which I understand you need an MDI unit, when I start my car it says initialising MDI. So I assume I have one installed.... My car has Bluetooth etc which works for audio but my phone doesn't have alot of space.
In my old leon I had a Chinese rcd510 copy which had usb support which played the ipod fine.
If I plug my ipod in to the USB in front of the gear stick I get unsupported device, how does one get this up and running if at all possible?
I see cables you can buy with the 30 pin ipod connector but does this have to plug into the back of the RNS310 to use it?
I don't want to have to use the USB and aux just to play my ipod as that sounds a little silly.
I've looked on the search and people tall about retro fitting MDI etc but I have one I think and the more I look the more confused on what I actually need or if it will work at all...
Any ideas would be lovely
Cheers
Simon
