Metal flakes

Hi all,

Today I decided to change my gearbox oil. The car just passed 120k. It's a Toledo 1.9TDi 53 reg 130bhp with an FMH 6speed gearbox.
I had to buy a different socket bit to undo the plug because mine didn't come with the „normal" 17mm hex plug.
So, I think the oil looks all right but my worries is the metal flakes I found in it.
Is this normal or I should start worrying?
I've got some pictures but can't upload them.

It's gold, I don't see any silver bits. But I think I choose the wrong oil. Didn't go for OEM staff, just bought from healfords and it didn't get better. Still a bit crunchy in 1st - 2nd - 3rd

the gold flake is from the synchro cones which help a smooth change it's not unusual to see them after that mileage but does not mean they're shot as it's "crunchy" over several gears it may be the clutch seen better days -is it original? ---- how's reverse?

Clutch feels ok. I could stall the engine with it. I`m trying to replace or check everything on the car since i bought it, cos I don`t have any service book
