An Engine Bay Thread

Jonjay Ur enginge bay looks great I have the same motor only in red and was thinking of doing the engine cover, battery and air box in red, but thought it mite be a bit much with it all being red, the gloss black looks great, mite do this and do the silver section on the engine cover in red with black TDI, some cracker looking engines bays.,

Spoke to two sprayers this morning and said it was hardly worth spraying the engine cover and other bits, has any one had an issue with he heat affecting the paint on there covers or other bits?? tried to do a bit of DIY spraying to the header tank cap and the washer bottle cap and lets say im no artist, a disaster and coverd half the kitchen in primer to, Now the are two new caps on order from Seat lol, both spray shops were not so keen to do the work, ie, snowed under with work and it wound,nt pay them for the time to spend doing it right. and after all the the heat could affect the paint! can any one help, just fancied trending up the engine bay a bit!! thanks
