Hello to all,

Car: Seat EXEO Saloon, from 2009 to 2013 2.0 TDI 120hp.

Ok, am not a mechanic, but can do a few things with my hands and some brain work. :)
I looked already around, but could not find what i was looking for.
Looking for a video where the door panel and window of the front door are fully being removed.
I did found a bit for the Audi A4/B7 model but not for the window, or how the window is connected to the mechanism.

Problem:
My wife (tried) opened the window from the drivers side a few times(it did not open)
and came to tell me that the window was not opening, but she could her the motor.
Now, it was a very cold and a bitter night with temperatures around the minus 8 Celsius.
So, something is broken inside to let the window up and down, the motor does work normally.(i think)

I have no clue how this works, but with a video I can probably do it myself.
Have to try it, before sending it to a expensive garage.

If you have a link or a video link for me, or send me in the right directions where to search,
that would be very helpful.

Thanks for your time and effort.

Regards Chris.

P.S. if wrong posted, my apologies, feel free to move it.

Hey Guys and Girls,

Thanks to Caldi, I finally came around to fix the regulator....
everything went fine and got it done in 2 hours.:clap:

Reconnected everything and double checked the lot...
All ok......:coolthumb

No way.... No power whatsoever to the door...
mirrors, door lock inside and the window not working at all.
The passenger and rear door windows are working only with the button
on the passenger/rear doors.

Check>>
fuses...ok
wires from the car to the door...ok
connections in the drivers door...ok

What the hell did i miss???:think:

Please need some help.

Regards Chris.

Did you reconnect the door control unit(window motor?) This takes care of the window, locking lighting?
