Have one custom made, cheaper and normally just as good if not better I have a great vid of my old 330d 6pot straight 6 diesels can make a amazing noise if it's done correctly

Having had a look under a Cupra and my 2.0TDi - I wonder if the Jetex from the polo would fit cos it has the same tailpipe design.

If I understand it correctly you need to go for a "resonated" exhaust for that to happen.

A properly designed resonator should be able to shift the sound to where you want it.

Guess it is in the skill of the builder at the time.

The Polo/ibiza exhaust from Jetex is 63.5mm ( 2.5" ) pipework right through.

Next time you get to have a look under the car - can you see if you have the extra box at the end of the downpipe - it is not on any parts list or diagram i have seen.

I can see 4 boxes on my system
1. The DPF - this is at the back of the engine just below the turbo.
2. A round box - this is at the end of the downpipe after the DPF and flex joint
3. A middle box just in front of the rear axle
4 A back box with the tailpipes attached.

So like me you will have 4 boxes in total.

The three you could see under the car - and the DPF box that is at the back of the engine just under the turbo.

The front box of the three that you saw under the car is not shown on any parts diagram.
