Just booked my 2011 Seat Ibiza 2.0TDI in for the cam belt to be changed over as it is now four years old. Seeing how they have to rip out a lot of stuff to change it over I thought I might as well book in to get the water pump changed as well. I've been quoted £400 for all parts and labour. Does this seem like a fair price for the job? Sorry in advance if I've posted this in the wrong section.

Cheers!

I'll tell you now the fixed priced cambelt change leaves no meat on the bones the parts alone come to £200 Personally I think it's a very good price considering the 5 year warranty which covers not just the belt but any consequential damage the belt may of caused if it fails.

Thanks for the reassurance. I just wanted to check because its a big job to get done and a fair amount of money! How does that warranty work? Is that only valid if its carried out by a Seat garage?
