Yes, in cars with Start/Stop, you just need to 'flick' the key rather than hold it. It always catches me out when I start other cars and look like a idiot when they don't start!

One thing I do wonder thought with start/stop is how if affects the turbocharger in the car, I mean, I always learned to leave the car for 10 secods or so idle before shutting it off so the turbo cools down.

I wondered about that too but then the electric cooling pump can circulate water through the turbo and intercooler even after the engine is switched off.

I can't see why the easy starting has anything to do with the start-stop system; just a characteristic of the engine I expect.
