Once the oil was out and new sump plug refitted it was time to do oil filter, easy if you have the right tools (usually I attempt something then realise I need a tool, this time I was ready)

Took approx 30 mins and most of that was waiting for the oil to drain! First time I have serviced a car with an oil filter like that, Previous ones have been the old style ones. Need to do my MK2 Golf now and Motorbike.

which grade nanodrive did you get?
5w30 is enough for a stock 290 right?
just bought one and want some nice oil lubricating my 290.
nice motor by the way mate, I'm gonna have to stop my urge to mod mine for now.

Leon is 3 years old on Friday so had to treat it to an MOT.

Passed of course, advisory for front brake pads though 75% used, not bad really they have done around 30k (10k on my LCR and 20k on Cupra 280) which includes Rockingham, Nurburgring, Mallory Park.

P.S i'm aware the pictures aren't working.

Car has now been sold to Revitup UK who have since sold it on to a chap from down south.

After 11 years of Hot Hatches I have decided to change to something a little different, just placed a deposit on a 65 plated Porsche Cayman S 3.4 325ps which won't be staying standard for long! Pictures to follow.
